Moving Orders to History

Question:

Our company would like to move orders to history based on invoice date, not
order date nor order number because we do not always invoice our oldest
orders first. Any suggestions other than modifying util/co-hist.p?

We had a similar situation come up with one of our companies. They wanted to move orders to history based on the most recent ship date for the filled order to be over xxx days old (6 months). We used the logic from co-hist.p and developed a report to identify orders that fit the criteria. Then they ran the Symix utility by sales order range. A little awkward but it was a big step forward without modifying util/co-hist.p.
