Question More than one AppServer can setup under a Name Server

Hi,

Please clarify the doubt.

When we setup a second appserver in OE Mangement console , with the second setup do we need to set up a new Name Server as well ?

No. You can have ( almost ) as many AppServer instances as you like to register at a given name server. Unless you want to use the load balancing at the name server level you should give these AppServer instances different names. For example in our production environment we have 3 different AppServer instances plus 1 WebSpeed Broker registering at the same name server.

Additional name servers are usually used to make them faul tolerant.
