Migration From Progress DB to Oracle DB

Hello,

I am facing a problem migration database from progress to oracle, i migrate the progress database to oracle databse but when i connect to oracle (migrated db)databse it will be connected but there is no table
and its table structure. I am using Progress Version 9.1 D and Oracle 8I.

Please, give me help how can i get my tables and its structure in oracle database i am giving steps which i have done.

1. Connect to Progress database from data administration tools and in back i also check the oracle services are running.

2.from the DataServer Menu select ORACLE Utilities -> Schema Migration Tools -> Progress DB To Oracle, then i give the location with asked db name and parameters and check all check boxes.

3.After that i connect to Oracle Database (migrated DB) it will be connected but there is nothing (i.e. there is no tables). but i also checked in SQL plus in Oracle it shows the table name it means table are there but it should not in progress migrated databse.

If any other utility used with migrated database oracle, please reply me so, i get my table and its structure in oracle database(migrated).

Hi,

how are you connecting to the converted database again..

You say you can see it through sql*plus. So where do you say you cannot see the tables.
