Allied Telesyn, an international provider of networking equipment, has
added a new full-time Programmer/Analyst position to their IS
department.
Applicants must have strong Progress 4GL/RDBMS v8-9 programming skills
combined with experience supporting MFG/PRO v8.6+ in a ChUI environment.
Candidate should be familiar with MFG/PRO standards for making custom
source code modifications. Technical background in a Linux/UNIX
environment is preferred.
An ideal candidate would also have hands-on MFG/PRO implementation
experience.
Primary responsibilities will be supporting the complex needs of ATI's
North American MFG/PRO users in the areas of Distribution, Finance and
Accounting.
The position will involve working on a wide variety of MFG/PRO related
topics, requiring an acceptable candidate to have a diverse set of
skills and flexibility. Some of these projects may include:
* GL Consolidations
* Budgeting and Forecasting
* MRP and DRP and Logistics
* Global Tax Management
* Inventory Valuation and Costing
* Interfacing third-party applications with MFG/PRO
* EDI/XML
* MFG/PRO upgrades and patches
* SSM, RMA, Service Contracts
* E-Commerce solutions
* OLAP/Data Warehousing
Candidate will work closely with business managers and IT Applications
Manager to establish project requirements and priorities.
QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Accounting or
Finance and three years of Progress and MFG/PRO experience.
Equivalent combination of experience will also be considered.
* Must be a team player, self-motivated, organized, able to work
independently and prioritize tasks
* Must have excellent verbal and written English communication
skills. Strong user interaction skills are crucial.
* No H-1 sponsorship available at this time
