Learning Resources

Hello,

I've just recently enterred a Progress/4GL development team. They hired me not for my knowledge of 4GL, but for my skills in VB, VC++. I am required to learn Progress and 4GL, but aside from the manuals, I'm afraid that I don't know where to begin as I have seen little documentation or education on the topics. Can anyone suggest any literature or sites from which I could begin the process?

Hi,

I too have run into the same problem. Unfortunately there's not much out there in terms of books or websites pertaining to development with Progress especially with VB, ASP, COM.

Mostly any documentation you can get is from your VAR.

The PEG boards are honestly the only decent resource for getting some information.
