Can anyone help, or have they run into this before? We are on SyteSuite 4.5, SyteLine 4.01.01

The system does not calculate the amount of labor time correctly on backflushed jobs.

To replicate:
Our system is set to standard cost

An item has a unit of measure of eaches, an order minimum of 4,700 and order multiple of 4,700. The item is set to standard cost

The item’s first operation is 10. The work centre is set to machine and crew schedule, backflush of Labor.

The operation has a crew size of one, machine required of “?”, a schedule driver of Labor, pieces per labour hour and pieces per machine hour of 23,500. The operation is a control point and backflush is set to Labor. The labor rate is set as $27.00 per hour. There is now set-up, move or queue, and there is no offset.

Operation 20 has a Machine Req of 1, a crew size of 1.00, Schedule Driver is Machine, Pieces per Machine and Labour hour are set to 7,833. The operation is not a control point, and Bflush is set to Labour. No Move, queue, or Setup, offset is on, with offset hours =0.00. Labour cost is 21.35

We create a job order for 4,700 eaches. We release the job order and schedule it. We post a job transaction against operation 10. We record zero hours, and a quantity complete of 4,700. We mark the operation as complete.

The labour should be:

23,500 pieces / 60 minutes = 391.6667 pieces per minute
4,700 pieces / 391.6667 = 11.999 or 12 minutes / 60 minutes = 0.2 hours

0.2 hours * $27 = $5.40

The System actually calculates:

0.188 hours, or 11.28 minutes *$27.00 per hour = $5.08 or a $0.32 error.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
