JUNIOR PROGRAMMER/ANALYST

Laird Technologies, the world's leading producer of EMI/RFI shielding
materials and related products for the telecommunications, computer,
electronics, networking equipment, aero-space, defense & medical
equipment industries, seeks an IT professional with strong analytical
and programming skills as well as in-depth understanding of database
management systems to develop, design, test, and implement application
systems and management controls throughout the corporation.
Specific duties include preparing test data to verify accuracy of
programming and logic design of application systems; investigating
failures; proposing/implementing system and design improvements;
and report generation.
To succeed, you'll need a BS or BA degree, programming experience and
technical proficiency in Progress 4GL Programming/Analysis. It's a plus
if you have QAD experience, an understanding of UNIX based systems
(preferably Solaris), hardware & software and relational databases in
a SQL networked environment.
