Is there a simple way to GRANT

It there a simple way (though ODBC and SQL) to grant select to a specific user? There are 147 tables and I do not want to GRANT SELECT ON table1 TO 'mrme' a hundred and 127 time ( I will have to revoke access to about 20 HR tables)

I can script something but it seem like a wast for only one run ...

No. Easiest way to 'script it' is with for each on _file.
