Was wondering if anyone has any data regarding IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second) for QAD? We are trying to spec out a server and it would really help to know if this data exists.
 
It depends on your site, your workload and your database configuration.

QAD can be very demanding. Especially if you go with "out of the box" tuning options.

Do you have an existing system and you're looking at a new server? Or is this a completely blank sheet of paper?
 
Thanks for replying Tom. We have an existing system and running out of resources. We're looking to purchase a new SAN - but we're trying to get our cost in line with resource requirements. Right now, we have 3 databases running on the same server - the biggest being about 20 gig. We have 150 users. The SAN vendor is asking for this data so they can build us something without killing costs.
