Infragistics UltraCombo Not Displaying Text

I have been using this ultracombo control now for the past few months and have recently come cross a problem where by the control text does not get updated after i check one of the check boxes. this only occurs when the ultracombo control is placed into a tableLayoutPanel, other than this, the control works as it should by placing the checked values into a comma seperated string. Does anyone have advice on how i can over come this problem or a solution to this. Thanks
