why in po update 5.7 the default location is not
the item location as declared in 1.4.5

There are two possibilities:
- The inspection required flag is yes in 1.4.7 for the related item. Then the default inspection location is used from 7.24 Purchase order control
- The same item exists for a different site. Check when available item site inventory data if the location is correct.

This in only in case of standard programs

Please check your 3.24 Inventory Control, There is a default site set there. This is the site that gets pickedup when you do your 5.7.
