How to push the data from Databse to another server without using ftp

How to push the data from one server to another in an xml format? I don't want to use webspeed & ftp . What are the other ways to accomplish this? How to do it with web methods (If so?)

You haven't really given us enough context information to make suggestions. Any form of communication could be used if there are no requirements stated.

The first things that come to mind for a modern solution are Sonic and DataXtend ... except that DataXtend wasn't yet supporting Progress databases, last I heard.

I wanna push data (minimal - 10 records at a time) from Progress DB to BAM. What is the simplest and safest way to do it?

We really do need more context. Is there a process identifying which records. What is the network context? What is the timeliness requirement? How important is guaranteed delivery? Etc.
