How to display records in a table as columns in a browser

Hi Everyone,
Can any one help me on below.

A Table has fields as
effective date , workcenter , no of machines , cell, cell total

it may have records as eg.
21/02/2007 wc1 5 cell1 5
21/02/2007 wc2 2 cell1 2
21/02/2007 wc4 10 cell4 10
22/02/2007 wc5 2 cell5 2
22/02/2007 wc1 4 cell1 4
22/02/2007 wc2 2 cell4 2
23/02/2007 wc4 10 cell4 10
24/02/2007 wc5 2 cell5 2


How do i design a browser to display as
Effective Date Cell wc1 wc2 wc4 wc5
21/02/2007cell1 5 2
21/02/2007cell4 10
22/02/2007cell52
22/02/2007cell14
22/02/2007cell410
24/02/2007cell52

Effective Date , Cell are fields and whereas column WC1, WC2, WC4 are records entered by user.

The columns in the browser should change as and when a record is added.

I have attached a more clear pic of the browser.

a dirty way to do it might be to make two browsers. And make one not editable and the other editable. Just have them run the same queries but display different records.

Thats just an idea.

I would say a right way to do this to populate each row in a temp-table with required values and use freeform browse to display the temp-table.
