You don't mention your Progess/OpenEdge version ...
You need to the define the temp-table field with the VIEW-AS phrase. You'll find description in the online help or the documentation that comes with the product - if the version of Progress/OpenEdge you're running supports this feature in the first place.

You still don't disclose your Progress/OpenEdge version ...
IIRC, the support for some widgets like a toggle-box or combo-box in a browse widget was added with OpenEdge 10.1A. If you run on an earlier version you need to roll your own solution, but, to be honest, I've never dug into this - therefore others will be more competent here.
