We are currently seeking a Progress programmer with experience in graphical design in V8 forward.
We currently design in V9.1D (Windows front end, UNIX backend, AS400 DataServer connection as well) and are transitioning elements to OE10.
We are looking for a minimum of 3 years of Progress GUI programming experience (we don't do any character work).
We are a nation-wide, privately owned company located between the Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Akron / Canton areas in Youngstown, Ohio. We are a software vendor as well as consumer of the products produced.
This is a permanent, full-time (40-45 hours per week), on-site position. Flexible hours and benefit package.
The position is 95% Progress work with 5% work being in simple HTML, JavaScript, and other simple languages. We are in the process of converting strategic applications to C#.NET. The hired employee would be trained in VisualStudio, C#.NET, and work in an SOA and ASP.NET programming environment over the next 2-4 years.
