Getting started with progress

Hi

I am interested in getting started programming with progress. Whats the best way to start without any prior knowledge? Are there any great books? Any other ideas? I am a newbie to programming in general.

A few good places to start are:

www.peg.com - search the archive for code examples

www.innov8cs.com - they have some good code downloads and whitepapers.

If you are a newbie to software dev, then how do you know you wish to get into PSC? PSC is rather a powerful development tool, it is VERY sophisticated. If you are a newbie to Programming then PASCAL will help teach you the basics. If you do wish to start in PSC try an older version first to give you the understanding of event-driven ways. V8 + ADM(1) though it is no longer supported. Get a foot in the door to teach you the basics then move on to O E 10
