I am currently having a problem with a customer that uses metaframes to run our product. They are experiencing incredibly bad performance issues and I was wondering if anybody has had any similar problems? They log into a metaframe session which using a NFS gateway link maps a drive to our code on another server box. I believe that the database is held on a sun box. The main problem they appear to have is poor response time and screen refresh times. Scrolling through records, accessing records appears to be incredibly slow.
I realise this is quite a general question and I am not sure about the spec of the metaframes server they use. Does anybody know of any good web sites/ user groups I may be able to search for some answers. Or have you had any similar problems using metaframes with version 9. This is a GUI product.
