D2C does not process, nor store, any data sent along the driver. It also requires that the connection to the driver be secure (SSL) into the D2C cloud server, and secure to the actual datasource (SSL or HTTPS). So the “processing, storing, and transmitting” is really just ‘transmitting’ and that is secure. (The above clearly applies to the D2C xDBC driver. I did have a question to the D2C team wrt OData. The JDBC to OData conversion is a ‘processing’ of the data. I think it would be ‘secure’ for transmission, but would you count D2C with OData client as PCI Compliant?)
