If your dll is not in the same directory as the executable you may need to use the –assemblies startup parameter. Use Assemblies ( -assemblies ) to specify the path to the directory containing the Assembly References File ( assemblies.xml ) and any third-party assemblies. By default, these files are expected to be in the current working directory of the ABL session. If you specify an invalid directory, the AVM raises an error at startup and halts. Thread created by Marc Hello, I've made a dll library in c# and I use it in progress developer studio. And this works great when the dll is located in the root directory of my project and added to the references. But, when I add my DLL file on a client to update my software, and launch it, I got a message saying my dll was not found ! Is there something else to do the copying the dll (and the assemblie.xml ?) files ? Thanks, Marc. Stop receiving emails on this subject. Flag this post as spam/abuse.
