As a suggestion, you could alter your use of the task. Date = Date to appear on calendar and sorted on lists Due Date = new added field to represent the Due Date You could audit the changes to the Due Date or add new fields Extension 1 Extension 2 etc This also has another practical use in managing your tasks. There are many times when you want to see a task on your calendar BEFORE the due date. Making the above modifications allows you to accomplish this. When you work with clients that have extensive task lists, there has to be other ways to manage the lists. You can use priority etc.... but priority changes based on the date. If you have a task due July 1 that is a normal priority...and it is now August 10.... is it still a normal priority. Add a due date in addition to a date to appear on calendar (or for sorting purposes) allows you to move the date and change the way it appears on your list. Just a few thoughts. Matt
