Just an observation, "My primary objection against using technical keys" (etc, by Stefan Drissen, 2012 in this thread). When then would what you observed become a problem in practice for you, is it a problem already? I for me would of course like to see the guid faster, you never know which usecase could appear sometime, but I have no problem with it's slowness for now. And you Mike (or whoever), do you have a concrete problem with this slow guid?
