and ... if all your 4gl clients are connecting via shared memory then you do not need to specify -S 6000 -ServerType 4GL -minport 6001 -maxport 6003 -Mpb 3 -Ma 3 -Mn 5 on the first proserve command. for the sake of readableness, i would put the -m3 at the beginning o f the second proserve command, right after the database name
