There was a rule: -aibufs = 1.5 * -bibufs. It was a wrong rule. ;-) E.g. http://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/19905 "Progress recommends -aibufs are set to a value of 1.5 to 2 times the value of the BI (-bibufs) parameter"
