European Invoice Forms

We are a Colorado based company that have recently opened a factory in
Ireland. We are wondering how in Symix we produce and print the invoices for
the Irish database. The requirements for the European invoices differ in
size and include some extra fields for VAT and Euro currency conversion than
on the standard US form.

My question is this. How do I set up my Symix application for Ireland to
output Invoices in the format that they are required to produce.

If anyone has any experience with this I would appreciate any suggestions.

We are based in the UK, and have no real problems with invoicing. I don't
think that Irish invoicing is much different to our own. VAT is simply a
rate based sales tax, which is handled by SyteLine OK. The SyteLine tax
naratives can also be changed to say "VAT" rather than "SALES TAX". As for
stationery we use the standard layout and paper sizes (like the Moore 9001)
without any problems.

Hope this helps.

Gary,

I guess you are intending to run this on a seperate database!! There are many
parameters that need to be set I have set these out in a previous enquiry which
I haven't kept. If you need theses details I'll dig them out.

In terms of printing are you using Jetforms ? If so you should be able to get
the right format using that. If you need an example of a European Invoice I
could forward one to you.

One other alternative is that Symix does have an office in the UK tel 44 121 606

Let me know if you need more help.
