Estimating Mark-up Methods

I have a client who is running Symix v3.0 and is in the process of
evaluating Window's based MRP systems. Posed this question to a Symix rep,
but he didn't know the answer:

Does the current release of SyteLine allow you to set the selling price
(from within the Estimating Worksheet) using "Gross Margin %"? I define "GM
%" as that percentage of the selling price that you want to be profit. For
example, if I specified a GM% of $20 for an item that had a manufacturing
cost of $80, it should calculate a selling price of $100. (mfg cost /
(1-GM%)=sell price

Symix v3.0, allows % mark-ups as a function of mfg cost (i.e. $80 cost at
20% markup = $96 sell price), but not GM%.

We have been quoting using GM% for 40 years. They are not real excited
about this change in order to utilize Symix/SyteLine's estimating
capabilities.

Thanks,
Steve.
