Errors (49) And (439)

Hi Guys,

I am repeatedly getting below error while running a batch on UNIX server

SYSTEM ERROR: Memory violation. (49)** Save file named core for analysis by Progress Software Corporation. (439).

Please help.

 
It means that the Progress executable crashed with a core dump. In theory there shouldn't be much that you can code or configure that causes the Progress executable to crash with a core dump. You should contact Progress Tech Support with this and provide them with the core dump so that they can analyse it to find the root cause.
