We are getting a 778 error (tcp socket errror) on a Webspeed agent. This error shows up in the WSbroker_err.log. When this error happens the CPU usage goes way up on the agent, the agent disconnects from the database. The Database is up and running and other agents are still working.

Has anybody seen this or any ideas on how to fix this?

Ok.. this is a common error when connected to an AS/400 database...
It happens when the database loses the connection to the client..
And then the client tries to do anything and the error appears..

i've found 778 error also with progress ver 9.1D. if there is a solution for this issue please share the information... thank you in advance.
