E-Mail Definition Maintenance help needed

Hi all!


Can someone help on how to configure mail sending from MFG/Pro server?

Environment: SLES 10.1

In the E-Mail Definition Maintenance this has already been tried:

Operating system: UNIX

Path and program name:
mailx

Recipient seq: 3
Subject -s seq: 1
Message text file -t seq: 2

A test message will only be sent, when I put a "." (maybe EOF) char.

Can you send email from # prompt using mailx?
Is email address set up for the user you are sending test email from?
dot is not reqd.
