Hello,
I saw a reference to symex (as argument to the definition include file) in the
same program ans symix.
What is the difference, and when is "symex" used?
Any references to this I can read up on?

Thanks,
Diana,
Symix Administrator.

SYMEX is the database alias for the extended schema tables,
such as ex-beg, ex-end. They provide labels, formatting,
etc., for rpt-opt.i mostly. You could set up a separate SYMEX
for things like rpt-opts in different languages, etc, at least
that's the idea. If you don't have a separate db connected
at startup, lib/db-alias.p will set it to your main database,
(usually first connected).
