I have been assigned the task of retrieving data off of a Progress Symix 8.2C database. I have no experience with Progress nor with the Unix box it is running on. My questions are:
-What is the best way to pull the data off this box?
-Would it be easier to put it in Access or Oracle?
-How can I query the database from a SQL Workbench?
Any help is greatly appreciated, and please forgive all the 'newbie' questions but I have no idea where to start. If anyone needs any other information, please let me know.
