I am using crystal reports version 7 with Progress Version 9.1.
I have it working fine on the server and connecting using Merant Odbc.
I have set up a local connection on my pc to crystal reports also.
I start my database in multi user mode using -H localhost -S database servername e.t.c.. on my pc locally
I have set up my odbc datasource to connect locally e.t.c..
It works fine.
My question is , if I design a report locally , how do i get it to run against the database on the server.
The crystal report has the odbc setting for example :
localhost
servername (local)
database(local database)
I need to change these setting in the report but am not sure how to go about it. The problem is when i run the report it is obviously looking for the local connection.
Any help would be musch appreciated
