Does anyone know of (or have) a procedure to change all items in the DB from
Actual to Standard Costing ? Considering the alternative (manual 1 by 1
change), any help would be appreciated. Thanks !

we have a general idea of how the costing works but less now that we've
upgraded to symix4.

first, we can't change actual cost in the item master. (it just skips this
field)
unit cost is manually updated in the item master? (it skips this field too)
current unit cost appears to be set when 'update cost' is selected on a po
line item and the po line is received, plus the cost bom roll-up seems to
update this field.
last unit cost is the last cost received just like the curent unit cost?
average unit cost is calculated from what fields?
