Enhancements were made in 11.4 that allow authentication of OEM connections to remote AdminServerse against either a static configuration file or, by default, the operating system user using the same mechanism employed by proadsv authentication. This is implemented using Apache Shiro which is configurable. I know of at least one person able to configure remote authentication to use Shiro's LDAP support.
