We too have customers requesting this feature. They indicate with Oracle's thin jdbc driver, they can point their jdbc url to ldap, which houses the db endpoint info. I believe it is documented by Oracle here: docs.oracle.com/.../urls.htm They're looking for same capability from Progress DD cjdbc driver for Oracle. My Progress case # was 00326271.
