Since migrating to WindowsXP we have been having difficulties ensuring that the default properties settings for the Character Client window is consistent for all users. It seems that the settings saved by the administor are not being applied to future user client sessions. I don't recall this being a problem under Windows 2000. The default settings can pose a problem for us and so we need to ensure that any user who accesses the database through the character client has the appropriate settings. I have checked the Progress KB but there doesn't appear to be anything there related to any inability to save the settings for all users on a given machine. Have others experienced this and is there any solution available?
