I am a MFG/PRO virgin Can somebody tell me if and how I can block certain batches in the MFG/PRO system so they can not be shipped from the warehouse. Even better would be that they can not be selected during order entry.
please mention your MFGPRO version when you post (it may help)
ISC (Inventory Status Code) may help you in restricting items from being shipped
checkout report 1.1.3 - Inventory Status Code Report
you can add/modify the restrictions in menu 1.1.1 Inventory Status Code Maintenance
e.g: if certain inventory item has Status with restricted transaction: ISS-SO
the system will block you when you add this item to a shipper (menu 7.9.2 - Shipper Workbench)
or when you try and confirm the shipper (menu 7.9.5)
