barcode reader support needed

Hi,

We want to add barcode reader support to an existing character based UI application. Current setup is:
-progress 9.1D running on UNIX server
-all client's are Windows PCs
-all users are connecting to the UNIX server using terminal emulation program (Netterm)

We want to setup some of the clients to use barcode reader to speed up data entry.
How can I use a barcode reader on the client's PC when it is running terminal emulation program?
Do I need any windows drivers (for the particular barcode reader model)?
Is there any progress code samples I can download and study?

Hello,
Barcode reader only send data like keyboard, so if u resolve hardware configuration, u don't need any progress code source.

It will be different i you use some barcode reader (radio frequences for example) who have screen and items menu on it.
