Progress V9.1d CHUI under windows

Is there any way to change the 'Blue' color that progress uses as the background color when a session starts.

One operator has color difficulties and wants to be able to change the Blue color to a color that they want for that session.

I know how to change the frame, Titles, Field etc but can't seem to find how override the default background.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's been a while since I have done this and there may be another way,but I think you can change that in the protermcap file. If it is onlyfor the one user, you could create a separate (special) terminal entry(with a new terminal type) in the protermcap file and set the user'sterminal type to the new one so the rest of the users are not affected.If memory serves me well that *should* do the trick...

*hits himself around the ears* I should have read better beforeanswering... Did not see the "under Windows" bit until I sent it. Scrapthat reply - no such thing as a protermcap file under Windows
 
Hi,

If its a local progress install, go to the progress/bin directory and you would find a progress.ini. Open that with your notepad and look for [WinChar Colors] ...

if your using a different ini for your progress session, fix that ini file instead.

I tried changing the ini file but did not work out for me :mad:, can you give a short example, i think i did something wrong there:confused:.
