ASP Services Manager
Established in 1985, Solicitec is the most innovative provider of Legal

Local Government. 100 staff over 2 sites provide full range of first class
services from development and sales to installation, implementation and
support maintenance.
Due to success within the growing Application Service Provider market, an
interesting vacancy now exists for an ASP Services Manager to manage the
implementation and delivery of our new ASP service. Reporting to the
Strategic Business Development Manager (responsible for e-commerce and ASP
solutions), the successful candidate will work for our Visualfiles division,
and will be involved in the development of applications to support the
strategic business development of new markets.
You will have at least 5 years experience of maintaining Progress database
installations up to and including v9.1, and a minimum of 3 years maintaining
applications in an out hosted, data centre environment. You will also have
at least 5 years application development experience using Progress Software
and be familiar with Webspeed . The successful candidate will have
e-commerce experience, specifically in the application-to-application field
and have an appreciation of the issues involved in business-to-business
collaborative processes.
The successful candidate can expect a good package, which will comprise
generous basic, a company car, and the opportunity to earn additional
