Anyone out there have a solution to monitor your AppServers?
We rely quite a lot on our state-free AppServers, and often I hear users complaining that their .NET open client is taking a long time to respond.
I know that the db itself is fine, looking at promon there are not much activity, and our chUI users are not complaining that are directly connected to the db.
What are some of the ways to dig under the roof of the AppServers and look at some statistics as to what is happening with the broker/agent?
Anyone have any useful insight on this? What VST would I target?
I looked at jMonitor (java monitor tool) which is able to "trend" the memory/thread usage of any java process, which the AppServer would be but this does not really dig under the roof of the appserver process and what is going on.
Mainly looking to get some statistics that I could use to look at when users report slowness.
