A few days ago I took part in a discussion on putting together a
program that will allow to run short 4gl admin scripts without a
development license.

So, here it is.

There's a short readme.txt, you'll also need to run setup.bat that wil
compile any necessary code, and an included sample.bat that shows
an exemplary use of admin script.

I've checked the program and it seems to be working, though it might
need to be tuned and cleaned up abit.

Just checking to see if the post was working, tried downloading the attachment and got an error opening the zip file, just as well, I couldn't even download the file yesterday.

Is it just me, anyone got to open the file ?
 
I extracted it ok. Using Quick Zip, although I wouldn't imagine any difference from WinZip/whatever.

[Edit] Just tried it with IE, and couldn't open it directly, although I could download it.

Firefox/Free Download Manager works fine for me.
 
Summary for me:

(XP)

Firefox: Open/Save/Download (FDM): ok

IE: Download (FDM): ok. Can't Save/Open direct.

Javascript/JScript problem?
 
Stopped using Firefox a while ago, this convinced me to start using it again.

Hi,

FWIW, I downloaded it this morning with IE but had to rename the content of the zip file to admscript.zip and unzip that aswell.... :-)
