Add LDAP into the core OpenEdge product

There has been talk on this subject and as I understand it was close to being added to OpenEdge at one point but since was taken off the table. Why? MIS / I.T. managers demand that applications that are installed in their domain support LDAP/AD so as to make it simple to control user's passwords ... etc. As of now, if we want to add LDAP into our product we will need to hire outside help to build it for us. I would think that so many Progress partners would benefit from this and allow us partners to concentrate in our core product offering ... I.E. What we do best.
