Actual material cost

Hi Peggers,

I like to know in which field of MFG-PRO I can find the Actual material cost? I like to have this information per item.

Currently I use the field wod_tot_std, but I do not know if this is the correct one? Which value is placed in this field?

Where in MFG-PRO (which screen) can I check for the Actual Material Cost value?

kind regards,

Wim.

We use MFG-PRO 8.6e

P.S. Please mail to both e-mail addresses

Hi Wim,

Thi smay not be the table you are wanting to use, but "tr_hist" populates
the field "tr_mtl_std" with this information.

Hope this helps,

I'm not too sure what you mean by "actual material cost". Mfg/Pro stores item costs in a table called sct_det. The
storeage is cost set-item-site-wise. All item cost data can be viewed here. Mfg/Pro Item Cost reports and Cost Management
reports will provide detailed info.
If you are speaking in terms of weighted average cost (actual cost), the same will still solve your problem, if you have,
say, the Current Cost Set as Weighted average... Inventory Control File setting. The current cost bucket will show you actual
costs.

Let me know if the assumptions are incorrect.

Regards,
Kawal.
