i am using Progress 9.1D on AIX 5.2 ML04.
My server is not performing as expected... performance degraded with passage of time ... a lot of _progres processes created which are doing nothing but eating CPU ... so the server ultimately become dead......
These appear to be zombie processes .... but at last Progress database suffers..
All of these processess have no pid but of "-"......why they created..
I have just migrated this database from AIX 433 and with the same database configuration parameters, the DB was performing OK without any problem at AIX 433.....
Kindly advice how to solve this problem
