I have RedHat 7.2 release 2.4.18-18.7.x Java 1.3.1_04-b02 Progress 9.1D (base) You may want to run up2date and patch the OS, the java and Progress seam fine....good luck...- kzjones

The adminserver uses the java rmi registry. You must start the registry and wait a few seconds to allow it to start before you call proadsv. nohup ${JAVAHOME}/bin/rmiregistry 2>&1 >/dev/null & sleep 15 proadsv -start- kzjones
