which all are fix in blanket po?

hi all,
i have one doubt that can we change item price in blanket po
if possible then in blanket po price is vary now.
i know quantity is fixed in that blanket po
tell me what about price ..

Price is fixed as well.

but we can change price by entering in po maintenance by taking that same po number generated while releasing blanket order.
Is a good practice like this?

Blanket PO is a legal agreement with suppliers on qty & price negotiated. Any changes required must have documented agreement for the same. Hence the price field is password protected to ensure any wrongful changes to price.
