upgrade to openedge 10.2a now access denied to PUB database

Hi

We upgraded to openedge 10.2a. We have a PUB database which we have an ODBC connection set. We can view the tables in access but when selecting we get the progress error 7512 which is do with access denied.

This was working fine on previous openedge version. have dropped the tables and created tables with permissions allowed for reporting user and SQL92.

can anyone assist me on this as its driving me mad

Some part of your permissions setup is incomplete ... I would just go through it from one end to the other and display the SYS* tables as you do so to make sure the changes took. A common mistake is to forget the commit.

Add User sysprogress and connect using sysprogress to get DB structure.
sysprogress is default owner of system tables.
