system error (5635)

Hello to you, we are using and old version of Progress 8.3b...

i got on the screen:

SYSTEM ERROR: -s exceeded. Raison STOP condition and attempting to write stack trace to file 'procore'. Consider increasing -s startup parameter. (5635)

there is the .PF file:

Anyone have an idea ? please don't tell me to upgrade the DB... i know that one ! We ara stuck with this crap....

Did you try as was suggested and raise the -s stack parameter? If not, try -s 63.

On a personal note I don't like the "we are stuck with this crap".

Pls don't take me wrong - but, calling more than 15 years old software crap just because it does not do the same things current software does or is capable - to me is not right. Instead I would question the ones who are to blame for "stuck with it".

What is the current setting of -s?
