Symix Admin username

Hi All,

I feel pretty stupid with this question but here goes. I am an Oracle DBA who just inherited a Progress 7 symix database. It is used almost solely for historical info. I have been ask to create a new symix user and I don't know the Symix Administrator username. Strangely the password was recorded in a historical file but not the username. Is there a default Symix Admin username?

It should be "symix". I'm assuming it's Symix V4.0 or below.

Thanks! I should have been able to figure that one out myself. I had tried admin, root, symixadmin, etc. I am all set now. Thanks again
