joey.jeremiah ProgressTalk Moderator Staff member Sep 29, 2006 #3 sounds more like database faqs i would recommend getting any sql slash database getting started books. same concepts different syntax. well, mostly, progress is easier something like learning sql or something with demistify or for dummies (they're actually pretty good) in the title that'll cover not just transactions and locking but also normalization, primary/foreign keys and all the terms and concepts we speak i like amazon.com but you can find them at any book store. hth
